High on Fire worshipping riffs. Spot on

10. The Ginger Sessions by Lewis and the Strange Magics

The definitive vintage record of the year. A lost soundtrack from a 70′s movie

9. El Otro Lado by Mansestral

Who would say that Progressive, Psychedelic and Jazz would make such a great combo?

8. Letters From The Damned/Ota Merkityn Numero by Vinum Sabbatum

These two tracks take the organ & guitar medley to another level, specially the second track. Amazing rock that takes us to another era

7.  Warthog by Warthog

“He died because he didn’t believe in the power of punk” - random long hair dude in the internet. It’s uncommon to feature hardcore punk in here, but this right here is too good.

6. Bliss Of Corpse by Negative Slug

I’ve been following these Croatians for some time now and one thing is true, they simply kill it. Their tone is raw, evil and filth, followed by some truly harsh vocals. One of the best proper Sludge bands around.

If Electric Wizard and Windhand were somehow fused together. Outstanding doom riffs with even better vocal harmonies. Just don’t miss this one, doom fans.

A rare gem of psychedelic doom rock with plenty use of samples and keyboard sounds, recorded in a lo-fi way, using a Akai CS34D. Insanely good.

Punk rock made with a Rickenbacker bass could only be this excellent. This is not the typical punk record, the progressions in here are something different, impressive and genre defying. Listen to this on repeat. You’ll need it.

2. Absorb / Implode by Meteor Vortex

Finland has been producing incredible music in these last years and Meteor Vortex are the living proof of that. Strictly instrumental, this power-trio plays Heavy Psychedelic rock with lots of spacey influences, creating an absorbing and igniting trip. If you’re into interesting heavy psychedelic jams, this is a must.

1. Women of the Wand by Potion

Heavy psychedelic doom metal. What a couple of awesome tunes. Huge fuzzed out riffs, evil solos and twisted vocals. You couldn’t ask for more.
